Police in The Gambia’s Central River Region North are searching for a suspect following a shooting in Kerr Makka Tukulor, Upper Saloum District, that left one man injured.

Alieu Njie was reportedly attempting to intervene and separate the two brothers when he was shot in the left arm.
Njie was initially taken to Njau Health Centre for medical attention before being referred to Farafenni General Hospital for further treatment.
